With no less than 693 phase detection points, covering 93% of the image, and 425 contrast-AF points, you can benefit from fast and very precise focus. The impressive ISO range of 100-51200 (expandable to 50-204800) makes the A7 mark III also excellent to use in situations where you have less light. With the high-quality XGA OLED Tru-Finder viewfinder, you can keep an eye on your subject and even the smallest details can be reproduced in real life. Moreover, you can choose for the viewfinder and for the monitor of the camera from image quality 'High' or 'Standard'.
Besides taking photos, the Sony A7 mark III body is also ideal for making professional videos. The camera does this in 4K quality over the entire width of the full frame sensor. The new HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) image profile supports a HDR workflow that allows you to play your images in lifelike quality on HDR-compatible TVs. The lens has built-in image stabilization to deduce visible camera vibrations and for use in dark conditions with long shutter times. The lens has a minimum focus distance of 40cm.
