Canon EOS R3 Body

The Canon EOS R3 marks a new era for professional photographers and filmmakers. The camera is specially designed to capture the fastest moving action ever shown. The camera meets the demands of professional users through ultra-responsiveness, high sensitivity, reliability and durability.

The R3 is the first EOS camera with a stacked full frame BSI CMOS sensor with lighting from the rear, designed and produced by Canon. With 24,1 MP (effective) you have a perfect balance between resolution, speed and dynamic range. In combination with a powerful DIGIC X image processor, a new dimension is created in hi-speed photo and video photography. Think of 30 fps with full AF/AE tracking and minimal image distortion when using the electronic shutter.

The focus is raised to a higher level with the new generation Dual Pixel CMOS AF II. Through the smart AF tracking hold your people, animals (dogs, cats and birds) and motor sports (racing cars and motorcycles) always sharp, too with 30 fps. Also At light levels of -7EV or lower focus is no problem. The groundbreaking Eye Control AF system allows you to select and move the focus point with your eyes, for unprecedented control over the AF.

Filming can be done in different resolutions: 6K DCI, 4K DCI and UHD and Full HD. The EOS R3 has the ability to store internally oversampled 4K or RAW recordings. With two card slots for SD and CFexpress memory cards, you not only have enough space, but also with the media appropriate speed.

The body is made of magnesium alloy and polycarbonate with fiberglass. It is based on the EOS 1D series, but is compacter and significantly lighter. Control is very intuitive during the most demanding professional situations. The camera is also fine in the hand thanks to the integrated handle. As with its large reflex mirror brother, the housing is dust and water resistant and provides high-quality protection in harsh weather conditions. The instinctive control will feel familiar to EOS 1-series users with both a multi-controller and smart controller and three adjustable rings. A 3,2-toiletable display allows you to capture images from any creative angle. The electronic viewfinder (0,5-toilet) provides a smooth lifelike viewfinder with 5,76 million and 119,98 fps. The accessory shoe provides data communication and drive for the accessories.
