The Blancpain X Swatch Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms is a tribute to the legendary Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, the world's first true diving watch. This special collaboration combines Blancpain's iconic design and diver tradition with the innovative Bioceramic technology and playful look of Swatch.
The cabinet is made of Swatch Bioceramic, an innovative material that combines ceramics with biobased raw materials for a lightweight and comfortable wearing feel. The watch includes the Swiss automatic SISTEM51 movement, fully automated and equipped with an impressive 90-hour corridor reserve. Thanks to the NivarronTM balance spring, the movement is also excellently resistant to magnetic influences.
With a water resistance of up to 50 Fathoms (91 meters / 9 bar), a unidirectional diving circle, Super-LumiNova® on the hands and indexes and a NATO band made from recycled fishing nets, the Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms is designed as a modern interpretation of a historical diving watch. Each version is inspired by one of the five oceans and shows on the back a unique nudibranch (sea slug), as a reference to Blancpain's commitment to ocean protection.
